Web Design and Construction
I develop websites that are simple yet effective. Although bells and whistles are useful the core job of a site is often just to present information to the visitor in a clear and coherent fashion. To keep costs low I sometimes adapt templates. This means that I will often come in at what seems like a really low starting price for a job. Anyone working with Three Things needs to be aware that this price covers some changes to detail such as colours, fonts and a little re-arranging of the pages. However, if the look and feel requests become more continuous or a feature is requested that is not part of the original specification, I will have to make an additional charge for the work. I find it best to be up front about this kind of thing. This modular way of working seems to suit those with a limited budget who have fairly simple requirements yet gives room for development of the product for those wishing to spend more time and money on a customized solution. At all times I will provide a written invoice for the work I need to undertake. Prices, including the initial quote, are directly related to the length of time a particular feature is likely to take to install and configure properly and will also take into account any additional training needs the client may have with the development of a new feature.
