Image and Photo Manipulation

Websites rely on high quality images. Although it is usually the job of the client to provide these images, when they arrive I process them and format each so that it not only looks good on the page but is optimized in size to allow for quick and fault-free downloading. In addition, anyone who takes a content management system will have a module added which will automatically resize uploaded images to fit on a page and thumbnail them for placing in a ‘teaser’ type overview, as well as placing them in other places in appropriate sizes. This all happens behind the scenes without any input from the person uploading, taking away one of the very biggest headaches of creating a website: sizing and placing images.
