Email Accounts

If you have registered your web address e.g. www.mysite.co.uk and placed a really nice website there, you probably want some email addresses that match it. For example me@mysite.co.uk or enquiries@mysite.co.uk

This is certainly possible and I can provide email services for a small fee. However, it is important that users realise that emails take up space, and space on a server costs money. So email accounts will be set to use up the space assigned to the web package I offer if you take hosting with me. For example, if you take a package that gives you 2GB of web space, this will normally be loads more than you need for one of my sites. However, if you include several email addresses and you get sent quite a few large files (picture of video) this web space will be chomped up really quickly. This is something else I find it useful to be up-front about from the start. It's quite possible to negotiate more space but clearly I will have to pass on any additional costs for this. My main business is website creation, not hosting. It's possible to get large amounts of web space quite cheaply to host email accounts and clients may well wish to investigate this possibility as a cost-efficient option for email. This is particularly true if you have a large number of people wishing to run their emails. It's quite possible to have the same domain pointing at another email provider.
